My favourite Lush product
Hi guys, I thought I would tell you a bit about my favourite Lush product as I think it has been one of my best buys from the shop.
I am someone who has really sensitive skin, and suffers from psoriasis especially at this time of the year as it can flare up quite bad. This can make me feel really insecure and conscious about my skin, I had psoriasis as a child but it then became very bad at the end of my first year of university.
I was so confused when it flared up as I hadn’t suffered from it since I was a child, I tried using loads of different creams but they didn’t seem to work at all. Then I went into Lush on a whim, thinking they wouldn’t have anything for my type of skin. When I asked the woman whether she had anything for psoriasis she said yes I was a bit hesitant at first as I had used so many products.
She then introduced to me to ‘Angels on Bare Skin’ it is an incredibly gentle cleanser and is made from 100% natural ingredients. This product is great for my skin as it contains the ingredients to keep my skin feeling nourished, balanced and calm, as my psoriasis can leave my skin feeling very hot and dry.
Some of the ingredients used in this product are; Ground Almonds which gently exfoliate the skin, as well as making almond milk when it is mixed with water rich with vitamin E that is rejuvenating and soothing for the skin.
The Lavender oil is used for its balancing and soothing qualities this makes it ideal for irritated skin such as psoriasis or eczema. The Rose absolute is also used for its soothing and calming properties, as well as it giving the product its evocative and delicate fragrance.
The method you use when applying the ‘Angels on Bare Skin’ is when you get into the shower do your normal routine. Then take a small part of the cleanser and mix with a little water to form a paste, then using small circular motions rub the product over your skin especially on the parts with psoriasis or eczema.
