Halloween skull makeup tutorial
Hi guys, your resident makeup Amy here, bringing you a makeup tutorial perfect for Halloween.
If you want to know how to do a really easy skull makeup look, keep reading!
Firstly, you need to find a really light foundation. I recommend a Rimmel foundation in the colour 010. This way it will give you a more ghostly look. Apply this all over your face, not forgetting your neck. This will be the base for you Halloween look.
Next up, you'll need a red eyeshadow. Using an eyeshadow brush of your choice, mark out the outer eye and take the eyeshadow down the sides of your nose. This will make it look like your eyes are more sunken into your face and it will make your nose look more narrow, therefore, looking more skeletal.
Next up, you need to deepen the area around the eyes using a darker eyeshadow. I suggest a deep brown colour, This should be placed closer to the eye socket to make them look more hollow and like a skeleton. You also need to add a nose. I looked at pictures on the internet and roughly drew out this shape on my nose using Rimmel Scandalyes waterproof gel black liner. I then went over this with a black shadow to keep everything in place.
You then need to carve out your cheekbones. I did this by drawing a line down the cheekbone and then straight down the side of my face to make it look like the bones of a skeleton. I used a dark brown to start and then deepened it with a black shadow.
Now it's time for the finishing touches. I filled in my eyebrows and drew lines on my lips to look like teeth. I also used a black shadow on my eyes to further hollow out my eyes.
This is easily achievable by following this step-by-step guide. I hope you have a great halloween.
